KNOWSLEY WOMEN IN BUSINESS
As a response to the needs of this growing sector, the Chamber set up the Knowsley Women in Business Network in March 2007 on International Women's Day (8th March)
The Knowsley Women in Busines Network (KWIB) meets regularly at various venues across the Borough alternating between After Hours Events with host organisations, and lunch meetings, where opportunities to develop relationships and do business are key features. Members of the Network also benefit from the opportunity to learn from and support each other, as well as having the opportunity to share their own experiences and expertise with their female colleagues.
The Network has been set up to promote the interests of women in business locally, and to identify opportunities to learn, develop and grow.
KWIB has gone from strength to strength since its launch in March 2007 with over 70 members and more than 1000 women attending events.
