The Art of Tendering – successful outcomes

Posted on: 26th July 2010

Over 50 businesses recently attended Knowsley Chamber’s tender and procurement training event, which was held at The Village Hotel, Whiston.  Feedback has been analysed and it’s evident that our members found the event extremely valuable.  Some 93% of the delegates found that the speakers met the event objectives.  The delegates have been offered a FREE further diagnostic session, where their individual needs can be discussed.

Comments included:

"Excellent event, very informative, very knowledgeable and engaging speakers"

"As the person responsible for completing PQQs (Pre Qualification Questionnaires) I feel that I am better equipped to successfully fill out questionnaires and tenders and this has improved my confidence"

"We are about to engage in tendering for NHS services, and this has provided an important stepping stone in terms of preparation of the tendering materials"

"Found event very informative and not a biased point of view"

"The delivery, pace and content was excellent and the speakers were able to share their thorough expertise and knowledge in a way that was both meaningful and practical. I can honestly say that I have never attended such a useful session. In addition to hints and tips on completing tender documentation, they were able to give an insight into the minds and processes of the buyer, essential information to both those new to tendering and those with experience. I would highly recommend this workshop and thank you for organising and inviting me to the session"
